2006 CNS Annual Meeting Huge Success

Thank you to all who attended the 2006 Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting in Chicago -- packed with education and innovation! More than 3,000 medical attendees participated in this year’s meeting making it the most successful CNS gathering ever! Attendees at the 2006 CNS Annual Meeting benefited from a number of revolutionary educational offerings.

Among the many highlights was the new Live 3-D Cadaveric Demonstration in Arie Crown Theater where hundreds of neurosurgeons looked on as neurosurgical masters demonstrated microsurgical principles using state-of-the-art 3-D technology. The new Neurosurgical Forum and Select Abstract Session were also enormously successful allowing attendees to view and discuss over a hundred abstracts in one multi-subspecialty assembly. The General Scientific Sessions offered high-profile appearances by George Lucas and David McCullough, as well as, an extraordinary lineup of expert lectures on topics ranging from medical reimbursement and patient safety to microscale surgery and angiogenesis.

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons is proud of the unique educational opportunities provided at the 2006 CNS Annual Meeting and eager to build on its tremendous success to offer even more innovative educational opportunities at the 2007 CNS Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. Please stay tuned as the 2007 CNS Leadership and Scientific Program Committee is already hard at work and has so much in store for each of you in San Diego!
