The George Ablin International Fellowship
Ali Haider, MBBS, MS, Ph. D
Dr. Ali Haider is from Pakistan. He completed his neurosurgery
training at the A.L. Polenov Russian Neurosurgical Institute in St. Petersburg,
Russia in 1996. He is on the staff at the Department of Neurosurgery,
Postgraudate Medical Institute Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, NWFP,Pakistan. Dr. Haider
has several publications and is interested in microsurgery and intracranial
hemorrhage. He will be training with Dr. Hunt Batjer in Chicago, Illinois. |

Edward Komolafe, MD
Dr. Komolafe is from Osun State, Nigeria, where he completed his neurosurgery
training at the University College Hospital in 1989. His current position is at the
Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria in the Department of
Neurosurgery. Dr. Komolafe is interested in cranial base and pituitary surgery and
will be training with Dr. Nelson Oyesiku at the Emory Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia. |

The Elekta/Lars Leksell International Fellowship
Hugo Mora, MD
Dr. Hugo Mora is from San Salvador, El Salvador, where he completed his
neurosurgery training at the Hospital Nacional Rosales in 2001. He is currently on
staff at the Hospital Nacional Rosales in San Salvador, El Salvador in the
Department of Neurosurgery. Dr. Moras interests include transsphenoidal surgery,
neurotrauma and critical care. He will be training with Dr. Daniel Kelly at the
University of California in Los Angeles, California. |

The Elekta/Lars Leksell International Fellowship
Youssoupha Sakho, MD
Dr. Youssoupha Sakho completed his neurosurgery training at the Dakar
University in 1982. He is currently on staff at the Centre Hospitalo-Universitair
de Fann in Dakar, Senegal in the department of neurosurgery. Dr. Sakho has
over 30 publications and presentations and is interested in microsurgery and
transsphenoidal surgery. He will be training with Dr. Fady Charbel at the
University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. |

The Kenichiro Sugita International Fellowship
Duysenbi Serick, MD
Dr. Duysenbi Serick is from Xin Jiang, China, where he completed his
neurosurgery training at the Xin Jiang Medical University in 2001. He is on staff
at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xin Jiang Medical University in the Department
of Neurosurgery. Dr. Serick has several publications and is interested in
cerebrovascular surgery. He will be training with Dr. Roberto Heros at the
University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. |
